OxCreek Tactical designs and manufactures custom Kydex® and Boltaron® sheaths for knife brands. We produce tens of thousands of sheaths every year from our shop in Oswego County, New York, and handle every step in-house: design, tooling, forming, trimming, and assembly.

How a New Sheath Gets Made

1. Design: we model the sheath in 3D CAD around your knife and send the design for your approval.
2. Sample: we machine a sample mold and send you a finished sample sheath for final approval.
3. Production tooling: once approved, we machine all production molds, trim fixtures, and assembly jigs.
4. Production: your sheaths are formed, trimmed, assembled, and shipped.

Lead Times and Minimums

• First production run on a new knife model: typically 3 to 4 weeks, including design and sample approval.
• Repeat orders of 500 to 1,000 sheaths: typically 2 to 3 weeks.
• Minimum order: 100 units. Orders of 500 to 1,000 units are ideal.
